While visiting with a client this past fall, I was overwhelmed by the beauty of their backyard. A field of yellow grass cascaded downhill and was exquisitely framed by a radiant blue sky. Inspired by the lighting of their beautiful backdrop, I created this small series. Like my other works in the Zenful Collection, this slightly larger original painting showcases a unique painting technique I’ve been working hard to master over the past year. It requires meticulous application of multiple paint layers along with varying dry times to achieve this particular aesthetic.
